2013: This isn't the ultra fancy sushi roll place. However the sushi is fresh, they have hibachi for the dudes who like that. However the prices are very reasonable which attracts me to this place. When I do a secondary order, you know I like the place.
Be sure to try the Hibachi and don't sleep on the sushi rolls either. Of course, like most places, they do the brown rice option and the Volcano Roll, Spicy Crab Roll and Dragon Roll here are just some of my favorites to mention.
2019 Update: Folks, we are still here... and they(Izumo) are still here. The prices are still favorable and the food is still enjoyable. Again, this isn't the place that will stun you with upscale amazement but it is definitely the place for quality Japanese cuisine with more than reasonable pricing and a wealth of menu items to try and continue coming back for more.

This past weekend was my 2nd time here in this little Japanese gem tucked away in a shopping center in Coral Springs. We had read the reviews of my fellow YELPERS and as we were looking for a good Hibachi place nearby we headed here.
The Restaurant has been here for a while and the clientele seems to be familiar to the servers and staff which is a good sign.
They are a small restaurant and have 4-5 tables.
The food is decent and filling and the staff is friendly and helpful.
All in all a good dining experience and we will be back if in the area. -

My family and I went there tonight for my daughters birthday. We all basically got chicken and rice. They even gave us a free vanilla ice cream with tempura bananas which was delicious. That was very nice of them to not charge for the ice cream since it was my daughters birthday! The waiter was great too.

Like Benihana, but cheaper. The great show is your chef standing by the hot grill, flipping his knife around while he fries your fried rice and your selection of meat or seafood.
I guess you could get the same meal, or better, from a carry-out Chinese restaurant, but we came for the ambiance and socializing. -

Hibachi is great. Price is right!! Really enjoyed the family atmosphere. Chefs are very entertaining.
